This is a very common and specifical Balkan meal (a type of sausage) which can’t be translated so you’ll just have to watch the video and try it out.
– soy flakes
– spices (salt, pepper, red paprika)
– bread crumbs
Cook the soy flakes in salted water for about 5-10 minutes, after that, squeeze out the water and add spices: salt, pepper, red paprika and garlic.
Add flour and bread crumbs to the mix as well as some chopped onions and garlic.
Sculpt the mix into tiny “sausages” or “burgers” and cook in heated oil in a pan until it get’s a nice brown crust.
Serve with vegan mayonnaise, ketchup, ajvar (another Balkan specialty) or tartar sauce.
